Riding along the beautiful shores of Roatan, Honduras, on a snorkeling tour was the best way to spend our first port of call on my and my husband’s honeymoon. I wanted to capture the stark contrast of the crisp, white paint of the sleek boats with the crystal clear, deep blue waters surrounding the reef.

Little Rock native Kristen Hess has been taken captive by the rich colors and thick textures of oil paints since 2005.
