To many Little Rock natives, the Little Maumelle provides an easy escape into nature and the perfect setting for families to get away together. This sweet family commissioned a portrait of the beautiful Arkansas fall landscape at a family home on the Little Maumelle to have a piece of home with them wherever they live. The evening sun starts to disappear, but leaves a brilliant warm glow on the tops of the trees and mountains for one last burst of warmth on a cool fall day. The calmness of the water and clarity of the reflections reminds of of those peaceful places in our lives where we can enjoy those we love and be thankful for all the Lord has provided.
