This sunset in Playa Langosta, a beach in Costa Rica, was the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen. In a matter of seconds, colors would change in the sky, each scene better than the next. This painting is an attempt to capture those colors. However, I find it difficult to match God’s craftsmanship, especially in this sunset. The pinks, oranges and yellows were not only a reflection of light, but they were so brilliant it was as if they were themselves emitting light. Not only does God give us a sunset every day in every part of the world, but he gets to have fun shifting the colors as the sun reaches the horizon, making each evening unique.
